Collections Manager

Are you a strategic thinker with a knack for financial recovery? As a Collections Manager, you’ll lead a team in managing and recovering outstanding debts. Your role is crucial in maintaining the company’s cash flow and ensuring timely collections while upholding excellent customer relations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Supervise and mentor the collections team, providing training and development opportunities.
  • Performance Monitoring: Set performance goals, monitor team performance, and provide regular feedback.
  • Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve any team conflicts or issues efficiently.
  • Strategy Development: Create and implement effective collection strategies to minimize outstanding debts.
  • Policy Implementation: Develop and enforce collection policies and procedures.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve the collections process for greater efficiency.
  • Monitoring Accounts: Oversee the monitoring of overdue accounts and prioritize collection activities.
  • Customer Communication: Handle escalated collection calls and communications with clients.
  • Negotiations: Negotiate payment plans and settlements with delinquent accounts.
  • Regular Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on collection activities and performance to senior management.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze collection data to identify trends and develop strategies for improvement.
  • KPI Tracking: Track key performance indicators and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all collection activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
